The rotary drum compound fertilizer granulator is a specialized fertilizer granulator machine designed to form materials into specific shapes. As one of the key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for large-scale production in both cold and hot fertilizer granulation lines, as well as high and low concentration compound fertilizer production lines.
This machine primarily uses aggregate wet granulation methodology. Through the addition of water or steam, the base fertilizers within the cylinder body undergo complete wet chemical reactions. Under specific liquid conditions and the rotating cylinder's movement, particles reunite and generate extrusion pressure, effectively forming material into spherical shapes.
The rotary drum compound fertilizer granulator operates through ventilation with steam, gas, or by adding phosphoric acid, ammonia nitrogen, phosphorus ammonia solution slurry, or coarse whiting slurry. Within the cylinder, the fertilizer granulation process involves chemical reactions and heat generation.
Alternatively, the cold granulation process utilizes minimal moisture content. The required granulating material undergoes rotational movement within the cylinder, where particles stick together under specific humidity and temperature conditions, forming spherical shapes and completing the system process.
