Introduction of Rotary Drum Granulator
Rotary drum granulator is a fertilizer granulator machine that transforms materials into specific shapes. As one of the key equipment in the compound fertilizer industry, it is suitable for large-scale production in both cold and hot fertilizer granulation lines, as well as high and low concentration compound fertilizer production lines. The primary working method involves aggregate wet granulation, where water or steam is added to facilitate chemical reactions within the rotating cylinder body. Under specific liquid conditions and the rolling motion of the cylinder, particles aggregate and create extrusion pressure, forming the material into spherical granules.

Working Principle of Rotary Drum Granulator
The interior of the rotary drum granulator consists of granulating areas, blanking areas, steam nozzles, annular baffles, and other components. During compound fertilizer production, steam and ammonia are sprayed onto the rolling material layer inside the barrel. Powder materials are extruded and rolled through the barrel's rotation, forming micro-granular nuclei that eventually agglomerate into complete granules. The granulation effectiveness directly impacts both the granulation rate and the final product quality.
