Introduction of Drum Granulator

The rotary drum granulator is a specialized machine designed to transform materials into specific shapes through wet granulation. By introducing water or steam, materials undergo complete chemical reactions after humidification. Under specific liquid phase conditions, the rotating drum generates extrusion pressure, causing materials to agglomerate into spherical pellets.

The drum features a special rubber lining that automatically prevents material adhesion to the drum wall, eliminating the need for traditional scraper devices. This design ensures no waste discharge during production, offering advantages including high yield, corrosion resistance, and exceptional wear resistance.

Working Principle

The system operates through a belt and pulley mechanism driven by the main motor, with power transmitted to the driving shaft via a reducer. Open gears on the driving shaft engage with the gear ring fixed on the machine body, creating opposing rotational movement.

Materials enter through the inlet and form into pellets as the drum rotates under controlled conditions. The finished particles exit through the outlet, enabling continuous feeding and rotation for mass production efficiency.
