Using organic fertilizer production line to process peanut shell organic fertilizer provides excellent fertilizer effect with rich nutrient content. Peanut shells are highly effective materials for organic fertilizer production.
Peanut shells primarily consist of lignin and cellulose, containing small amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and trace elements, along with minimal protein content. While suitable for plant growth fertilizer, pure peanut shells have very low nitrogen content (only 0.65%), making fermentation slow and decomposition difficult. The limited trace elements and proteins cannot provide sufficient crop nutrition, making pure peanut shell fertilizer primarily useful for soil loosening rather than comprehensive crop nourishment.
Since peanut shells' main components (lignin and cellulose) resist complete decomposition even after high-temperature fermentation, they can hinder crop nutrient absorption and reduce soil water retention. Crushing peanut shells destroys their fibrous structure, reducing air pockets, promoting microbial reproduction, accelerating heat transfer, and shortening fermentation time.
During peanut shell decomposition and fermentation, adding high-nitrogen animal manures and urine accelerates the composting process, creating compound organic fertilizer. This enriched fertilizer improves soil fertility, enhances soil structure, provides rich nutrients, increases crop yields, and strengthens disease resistance.
Recommended mixture ratio: peanut shell 50%-70%, animal manure 15%-30%, urea 0.5%, rice bran 5%-20%, trace elements 0.5%-1%. Adding microbial starter further accelerates fermentation.
As peanut by-products may carry pests and diseases, complete decomposition is essential to ensure pathogens are eliminated, preventing cross-infection in crops.
