Disc granulator is the main equipment used to transform powder materials into spherical pellets. Primarily utilized in cement, steel, and compound fertilizer industries, this machine offers numerous advantages including uniform ball formation, easy moisture control, high ball strength, simple structure, convenient operation, low energy consumption, and stable rotation.

The disc prewatering pelletizer process involves adding water (typically 11-15% of dry powder volume) to raw materials in spray form within a blender. After thorough mixing and permeation, raw material particles uniformly absorb moisture and adhere to form 1-2mm diameter pellet nuclei. These nuclei and wet powder enter the disc pelletizer where scrolling action forms larger balls. Moisture facilitates adhesion between mass balls and powder material, enabling rapid diameter growth. Once balls reach optimal size, they exit the formation area.

The disc pelletizer consists of several key components: disc body, cleaning device, main bearing assembly, main transmission drive, angle adjustment equipment, and frame structure.
