Uniform particle cores made from raw material powder are fed into the disc. Centrifugal force, friction, and gravity cause the cores to follow a parabolic path. During rolling, moisture evaporates from the core surface, and due to cohesiveness and plasticity, the cores grow larger by accumulating raw powder.

The pellets develop strong intensity through material cohesiveness and natural evaporation of surface liquid film. When disc inclination, edge height, rotation speed, and moisture are properly set, pellets of different diameters roll down from the disc edge at varying angles due to gravity differences, discharging through the rotating inclined disc body.
