Scope of application of the new drum granulator

New rotary drum granulator working principle

Cylindrical centrifugal granulator adopts a unique process, the use of winch mixing and feeding, through the spiral rotary mechanism and centrifugal force, so that powdered materials through a series of processes such as balling, polishing, densification, drying, etc., to achieve the purpose of material bonding into spherical particles. The shape of the granules is generally between 0.3 and 0.5mm, with a moisture content of around 30% and a granulation rate of over 95%. It is used to granulate various organic materials after fermentation: chicken manure, pig manure, cow manure, humic acid and other organic powdery materials.

Advantages of the new rotary drum granulator

1. The new granulation process is multi-functional, such as rotating, spheroidizing, polishing, densifying, heating and drying.

2. The spiral rotary mechanism is made of high strength alloy material, which is strong and durable and prolongs the life of the equipment (basically no wearing parts).

3. Material moisture between 30% and 40% can be granulated, the discharge moisture is about 30%, which reduces the traditional drying requirements of 70% moisture, effectively reducing the cost of organic fertilizer production.

4. In the granulation process, the barrel produces a temperature of 50 to 65 degrees, so that the moisture of the output material is reduced by 5 to 8 points, which in turn reduces the drying cost requirements.

5. The granules are uniform, smooth, round and strong, with a granule forming rate of over 95%.

6. By adjusting the feed material moisture to adjust the size of the outgoing granules, which can meet the requirements of different granule sizes.

7. The fineness of the feed material can be controlled at about 20 mesh to granulate, which improves the traditional granulation process requirement of at least 80 mesh.
